OCS is a minority and veteran owned professional services company with a mission to make sure our clients successfully navigate an ever-changing regulatory landscape. Using our decades of experience as regulators, bank officers and management consultants. We ensure our client's products and services are compliant with federal and state regulatory requirements.

Our Team

Our team members served in the United States Navy, United States Marine Corps and United States Army in war protecting our country. Subsequent to our military service, we continued our governmental services as regulators for the Federal Reserve, OCC, FDIC and CFPB. We then worked as bank officers and management consultants for Top 10 banks and the ‘Big Four’ management consulting firms. Our team brings our military discipline, regulatory knowledge, bank officer insights and management consulting skills to help our clients solve their regulatory challenges.

Our Founder

James 'Kent" Owens served as an active duty and reserve naval officer for 16 years, participating in two Gulf Wars. Following his military service, Kent has worked as a regulator (Federal Reserve), bank executive (JPMC and Citibank) and management consultant (PwC and Accenture) in the financial services space. He graduated undergrad from the United States Naval Academy and has graduate degrees from both Harvard University and Johns Hopkins University.
